Merry (Almost!) Christmas!

Hey everyone! I cannot believe Christmas is in 2 days! What fun! Cousin Nicki and I have been talking about it forever. I really got into the spirit today, when I tagged along to look at Christmas lights all over town. It was raining very hard and it often became very hard to see the lights, but it was pretty none the less. I felt so snuggly in my winter coat. It is purple, my favorite color! But as soon as I got home I went straight into my snuggly, fleecy pajamas. But I will not get any sleep for the next 2 days, bet ya. I am awfully jumpy tonight, and tomorrow is Christmas Eve, which I know will be fun. Nicki is going to leave the display to spend Christmas with me. In the morning we are going to bake gingerbread! I want to make a nice little house with some gingerbread people! Nicki says we will make 2 gingerbread girls to look just like us. While the gingerbread bakes, Nicki and I are going to watch Olive, the Other Reindeer. It is my most favorite Christmas special ever! It is all about a little dog named Olive who thinks she is a reindeer, and she has to go to the North Pole to replace an injured reindeer and save Christmas! No channel had it on this Christmas though, so Mom brought home the DVD today! It is her favorite special too. Nicki's favorite is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. We have that too, so we will watch it as well, maybe while we are decorating the gingerbread. After making gingerbread, we will be busy making dinner! Mom says Nicki and I will help to make salad. Yum! I'm going to have mine with lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, olives, and cheese. And italian dressing! Mom said there will also be lasagna and bread! She said the dessert will be very good too! Tri-color cookies and italian butter cookies that are shaped like gingerbread men with chocolate in the middle of them! When we finish dinner, Mom says there will be even more baking. We have to make sugar cookies that have snowmen on them for Santa. Once we finish all the baking, I think Nicki and I will just sit in front of the fireplace with some hot cocoa while we listen to Christmas music over the radio. Then we'll go into Mom's room and change into pj's, before going back out to the living room to put out our sugar cookies for Santa. Of course, we also leave him milk, and carrots for his reindeer! Nicki says she always writes a note telling the other reindeer to be nice and share carrots with Rudolph. When we get back to Mom's room, we are having a sleepover with Michelle. I told her she could come as long as she won't bully me or Nicki. She agreed, but we'll see. But I know we won't be able to sleep, so Nicki, Michelle, and I plan to watch Christmas specials all night. And then of course we'll wake up in the morning to rip into our presents! I have my fingers crossed super tight for that midnight holly dress, and maybe even a new sister! Merry Christmas everyone!
